2023
This year I continued the styalistic experiments I began in 2022, but with a more focused application. I spent most of my time refining my line art and began experimenting with a specific color technique and shading method for my digital work. I'm pleased with where my skills ended up this year, and look forward to advancing them in 2024.
2022
I experimented a lot this year in an attempt to create a more cohesive and flexible line art style and to try and find a coloring method I enjoyed. Color has always been a sticking point for me and so I gave it extra attention this year. I love drawing in black and white, but wanted to give myself the option to include color as I please. These experiments wouldn't fully pay off until the end of 2023, but I wouldn't be where I am without them.
