I've been drawing my whole life, and I'm primarily self-taught. I work both traditionally with pen and ink, as well as digitally where I favor ProCreate as my software. I enjoy drawing characters, creatures, and landscapes, pulling a lot of inspiration from the desert around me.
Along with my illustrations you'll also find sequncial art, in the form of comics and zines. Comics have been one of my favortite forms of media since I was a teenager with series like The Wicked + The Devine, Hellboy, The Sandman, The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, Where Black Stars Rise, and Be Kind My Neighbor having a huge influence on me. My interest in zines wouldn't develop until later, but I now have a small, beloved, collection. Zines are wonderful for the same reason Neocities is. A blank slate, completely customizable, shared for joy and not profit.
Aside from my visual art I also sew, and work on a variety of DIY projects. Within the sewing room you'll find my frankenplushes, jacket patches, mending porjects, handmade spikes for cloths and acessories, and jewelry made primarily from scrap pieces of metal and discarded trinkets. Alongside these projects I also post the occasional Vulture Culture project as I collect, clean, and make art from bones and other scavanged animal remains.
